01 · The facility
Since 1965, the "Mavromatis Kumquat" factory has been a point of reference for kumquat in the Ionian Islands and throughout Greece. It began as a family idea, born of love for Corfu's fruit, and grew into a modern industrial facility, a model for kumquat production on the island.
Our modern production line can reach one million bottles a year, and every year we process 50 tonnes of fruit for marmalades and sweets. We continuously invest in automated technologies and follow international quality standards. But the essence remains the same: attention to detail, pure raw materials and the family recipes, just as we learned them.

02 · The fruit
Kumquat ripens slowly under the Corfu sun and is eaten whole, together with its peel, which is rich in vitamin C and natural essential oils. For generations it has been a symbol of Corfiot hospitality, and for the Mavromatis family the starting point of a tradition.
Today we transform it into more than 50 product codes and serve the entire market: retail, wholesale and HORECA, in Greece and abroad.
A distinctive range of kumquat soft drinks and juice, the premium kumquat liqueur range, as well as fine limoncello and ouzo.
Handmade mandolato, mandola, loukoumi, sykomaida and pasteli. Also marmalade and spoon sweet, biscuits, baklava and fruit glacé.
Gift packaging, designed with care, that carries the flavours of Corfu throughout Greece and abroad.
